Hands-On Collaboration: Woodworking at Muslala and Molet

During the second part of Building Bridges in Israel, participants took part in joint woodworking activities at Muslala and Molet, working side by side on shared construction projects.

At Muslala’s community woodworking workshop in Jerusalem, a space that brings together art, craftsmanship, and environmental engagement, participants built wooden furniture for the garden of the Leo Baeck Institute, including planters, benches, tables, and a wooden deck. Throughout the process, participants exchanged skills and practical knowledge while collaborating on each stage of the work.

The group also spent a day at Molet, a collective focused on hands-on design and the re-use of wooden materials, where they built playground elements such as climbing walls and a wooden playhouse. The structures were donated to Kibbutz Ma’ayan Baruch, extending the collaborative work beyond the workshop setting and into a community context.
